The near UV spectra of benzene...

i have not done this much "math" for YEARS!
everything seems to be about right... which is strange because i was shit at algebra since grade 9, but for some reason this stuff is working out.

of course, if we were to think about all this in minimalist/reductionist terms, ockhams razor would apply and the simplest explanation would be that i am completely and utterly blitheringly wrong.
