my first musing as a motorcyclist - or - i just copped my first bastard
it truly is no different, really, to being a pedal powered cyclist.
it seems that 2 wheels = 4 wheelers automatic right to be assholes.
case in point:
as i was riding across the bridge to get to west end, doing 50km/h, keeping a safe distance behind the 4wd in front (who was braking erratically) and keeping to the side to avoid the large truck coming up on my right, i was rudely hollered at by a couple of young 4-wheelers who told me to learn how to drive...
they then proceeded to do 10km/h over the speed limit, brake very quickly, swerve across 2 lanes without indicating and then jump back into the middle lane just in time to run a red light... if only i had a video camera attached to the front of my scooter.
perhaps they were giving me an example of what NOT to do, but its more likely that...
some people just need to learn how to drive.
